I am a photographer and writer based in Toronto, Canada.
Having trained as a philosopher, with a deep background in literature and psychology, as well as having spent nearly a decade in software development fighting for security and internet privacy, I am deeply interested in people's relationship with the world and their understanding of where they stand in relation to it through both science and art. I’m also passionate about about people’s relationships with themselves, and by extension, others, and how they navigate those waters through growth, challenge, discipline, and self-reflection.
My love of writing, image, symbolism, and metaphor stems from a childhood spent immersed in the words and images of Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Van Gogh, Andrei Tarkovsky, Jorge Luis Borges, Stanley Kubrik, Roberto Bolano, Hieronymus Bosh, Federico Fellini, Salman Rushdie, and Caravaggio among others.
I also loves fresh, warm bread. And watermelon.
